Congress 08                     Leaving for Texas                        Amarillo sunrise

We're leaving for the Select World Show in Amarillo, Aug 2008 for HUS and Eq. It was a long drive, the sun is coming up just outside Amarillo. Unfortunately, Lilly got nervous in that arena. She did much better at Congress. My horses didn't see daylight for three days at Congress because we got up at 4am to work so there wouldn't be crowds. Congress is quite an experience, at least the weather was good. Lilly was finalist in each class, Pokey, the yearling was 4th in Longe line and Sam was 9th overall in Versatility with a 4th in pole bending. Biz had fun and will do Versatility again. We have our longe liners picked out for next year !
